من قلب 'عروس النيل' مدينة المنصورة، حيث يتنفس التاريخ صدي العلم والقضاء، انطلقت رحلة المستشار كريم محمد سعد الزقرد. لم تكن نشأته في هذا الإرث العريق مجرد مصادفة، بل كانت أساس في بناء وعيٍ مبكر قدّس النظام وآمن بسيادة القانون. بالنسبة للمستشار كريم، لم يكن العدل يوماً مجرد مهنة، بل رسالة سامية كرس لها حياته، ليتحول من طالبٍ شغوف في دلتا مصر إلى قمة الهرم القضائي والقيادي، مجسداً نموذجاً فريداً للقاضي الذي يمزج بين صرامة الحق وسماحة الإنسانية."

أدرك المستشار كريم مبكراً أن صرح العدالة يُبنى على أساس متين من العلم. كانت خطوته الأولى هي الالتحاق بكلية الحقوق بجامعة المنصورة. لم يختر المسار السهل؛ بل سارع لتعميق تخصصه باختيار الدراسة باللغة الإنجليزية، مما مكنه من الاطلاع على المدارس الفقهية والقانونية الدولية والمقارنة. هذا التفاني لم يذهب سدى، حيث تخرج بتقدير جيد جداً مع مرتبة الشرف، محققاً بذلك إنجازاً أكاديمياً لافتاً يؤكد جديته والتزامه.

لم يكن الحصول على الشهادة الجامعية سوى الخطوة الأولى في مسيرته؛ فإيمانه بأن القاضي يحمل أمانة العلم دفعه نحو آفاق الدراسات العليا، ليتوج مساره بدرجة الماجستير في القانون العام. في تلك المرحلة، تبلور فكره التحليلي وتجاوزت رؤيته حدود النصوص الصماء ليدرك 'روح القانون' وجوهر فلسفته، متعمقاً في فهم التوازنات الدقيقة التي تحكم العلاقة بين الدولة وسلطاتها.

إدراكاً منه بأن القيادة في المجال القضائي تتطلب مهارات تتجاوز المعرفة القانونية وحدها، لم يتوانَ المستشاركريم عن الاستثمار في تطوير قدراته الشخصية والقيادية. هذه الشهادات تمثل حجر الزاوية في بناء شخصيته الشمولية:

(ABA Rule of Law Initiative)، بدعم من الوكالة الأمريكية للتنمية الدولية (USAID) هذه الدورة ركزت على صقل المهارات القانونية الأساسية وأخلاقيات المهنة، مما عزز فهمه للممارسات الاحترافية الدولية لسيادة القانون.

 وسعياً لتعزيز قدراته على التحليل والتركيز، أكمل ندوة شاملة في قوة الذاكرة 

( Memory Power) من المركز الكندي لتدريب التنمية البشرية، مما يبرهن على التزامه بتطوير الأدوات المعرفية اللازمة لعمله كقاضٍ يتطلب دقة وحفظاً للوقائع والأحكام.

وإيماناً منه بأهمية التواصل الفعال والتأثير الإيجابي، حصل المستشار كريم على شهادتين من المركز الكندي للتدريب في البرمجة اللغوية العصبية (NLP)، حيث أتم بنجاح ندوة شاملة في "ممارس مساعد في البرمجة اللغوية العصبية (NLP)"، بالإضافة إلى ندوة أخرى في نفس المجال. هذه الدراسات مكنته من فهم آليات العقل البشري وتحسين مهاراته في الإقناع، والتحقيق، والتعامل مع الآخرين، وهي مهارات أساسية للقائد صانع العدل.

هذا المزيج الفريد من الإعداد الأكاديمي الصارم والتطوير الذاتي الشامل هو ما صقل شخصية المستشار كريم، ومهّده للانتقال بثقة إلى ميادين العمل القضائي والقيادي.

ثم جاءت الترقية إلى منصب رئيس محكمة جنح مستأنف دمياط. هذا الدور محوري وحساس للغاية؛ فرئيس المحكمة المستأنفة هو الملاذ الأخير لضمان سلامة الأحكام في الجنح. كان عمله يتطلب أكثر من مجرد تطبيق النص؛ كان يتطلب حكمة في فهم سياقات القضايا، وإعادة تقييم شامل للأدلة، واتخاذ قرارات قد تغير مسار حياة المتهمين. في هذه المحطة، أثبت المستشار كريم قدرة فذة على الموازنة بين إنفاذ القانون برحمة وصرامة.

ولم تنتهِ رحلة الصعود عند هذا الحد، فبجدارة وكفاءة، اعتلى منصباً رفيعاً كـرئيس نيابة بالنيابة العامة لدى محكمة النقض. هنا، في قمة السلطة القضائية، اختلف المشهد؛ لم يعد التركيز على التحقيق في قضية فردية، بل على توحيد المبادئ القانونية وتصحيح المسار القضائي على مستوى الجمهورية. دوره في محكمة النقض يجعله شريكاً فعالاً في صياغة الفقه القانوني المستقبلي للبلاد، وهو تتويج لمسيرة مهنية تتسم بالعمق والدراية القانونية الشاملة. هذا التدرج يعكس ثقة راسخة من القيادات القضائية في نزاهته، وعمق علمه، وقدرته على تحمل أثقل أمانة في الدولة.

لم تقف إنجازات المستشار كريم عند حدود القاعة القضائية، بل امتدت لتشمل القيادة المجتمعية والنقابية. لسنوات عديدة امتدت عقداً من الزمان، انتخب كـعضو مجلس إدارة بنادي قضاة المنصورة. هذه المدة الطويلة تشهد على العلاقة الوطيدة والثقة العميقة التي بناها مع زملائه، حيث كان صوتاً قوياً وفعالاً يدافع عن مصالح الهيئة القضائية في المحافظة.

وفي خطوة مهمة أكدت دوره القيادي على نطاق أوسع، حظي المستشار كريم  بانتخابه عضواً بمجلس إدارة نادي قضاة مصر. هذا الانتخاب كان حدثاً لافتاً في تاريخ النادي، حيث حصد أعلى الأصوات من بين المرشحين، وهو دليل دامغ على الإجماع والقبول الذي يحظى به المستشار بين جميع أعضاء الجمعية العمومية من مختلف محاكم ونيابات مصر.

A Golden Imprint in the history of the judiciary and union work... Counselor Karim El Zekred... the journey of a justice maker and inspiring leader

From the heart of the "Bride of the Nile," the city of Mansoura, where history breathes the echoes of knowledge and the judiciary, the journey of Counselor Karim Mohamed Saad El Zekred began. His upbringing within this ancient heritage was not a mere coincidence, but rather a foundation for an early awareness that sanctified order and believed in the rule of law. For Counselor Karim, justice was never just a profession, but a sublime mission to which he dedicated his life, transforming from a passionate student in the Egyptian Delta to the pinnacle of the judicial and leadership hierarchy, embodying a unique model of a judge who blends the rigor of truth with the grace of humanity.

Counselor Karim realized early on that the edifice of justice is built on a solid foundation of knowledge. His first step was joining the Faculty of Law at Mansoura University. He did not choose the easy path; rather, he sought to deepen his specialization by choosing to study in English, enabling him to access international and comparative legal and jurisprudential schools. This dedication did not go to waste, as he graduated with a "Very Good" grade with honors, achieving a remarkable academic feat that confirmed his seriousness and commitment. Obtaining a university degree was only the first step in his career; his belief that a judge carries the trust of knowledge pushed him toward the horizons of postgraduate studies, culminating in a Master’s degree in Public Law. At that stage, his analytical thinking crystallized, and his vision transcended the boundaries of static texts to realize the "spirit of the law" and the essence of its philosophy, delving into the understanding of the delicate balances that govern the relationship between the state and its authorities.

Realizing that leadership in the judicial field requires skills that go beyond legal knowledge alone, Counselor Karim did not hesitate to invest in developing his personal and leadership capabilities. These certifications represent the cornerstone of building his comprehensive personality: Global legal professionalism, as he was keen to deepen his practical skills by completing the "Continuing Legal Education for Young Lawyers: Skills, Practice, and Professionalism" course, a specialized course granted by the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI), supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). This course focused on honing basic legal skills and professional ethics, which enhanced his understanding of international professional practices for the rule of law.

In an effort to enhance his capacity for analysis and focus, he completed a comprehensive seminar in "Memory Power" from the Canadian Center for Human Development Training, demonstrating his commitment to developing the cognitive tools necessary for his work as a judge, which requires precision and the retention of facts and rulings. Believing in the importance of effective communication and positive influence, Counselor Karim obtained two certificates from the Canadian Training Center in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), where he successfully completed a comprehensive seminar as an "Assistant Practitioner in NLP," in addition to another seminar in the same field. 

These studies enabled him to understand the mechanisms of the human mind and improve his skills in persuasion, investigation, and dealing with others—essential skills for a leader making justice. This unique blend of rigorous academic preparation and comprehensive self-development is what polished Counselor Karim’s personality and prepared him to transition with confidence into the fields of judicial and leadership work.

With this masterful academic preparation, Counselor Karim’s professional career began by joining the Public Prosecution, which is the true foundation for judges. He progressed through various responsibilities in the prosecutions of Damietta and East Tanta, dealing daily with cases that touch people's lives and the conscience of society. He learned the art of listening, the precision of investigation, and the ability to filter complex facts under time pressure, to become a watchful eye on the implementation of the law and the protection of public rights.

Then came the promotion to the position of President of the Damietta Summary Appeals Court. This role is pivotal and extremely sensitive; the president of the appellate court is the last resort to ensure the integrity of rulings in misdemeanors. His work required more than just applying the text; it required wisdom in understanding the contexts of cases, a comprehensive re-evaluation of evidence, and making decisions that might change the course of the defendants' lives. At this station, Counselor Karim proved an extraordinary ability to balance law enforcement with mercy and firmness.

The upward journey did not end there; with merit and competence, he ascended to a high-ranking position as Chief Prosecutor at the Public Prosecution Office before the Court of Cassation. Here, at the summit of the judicial authority, the scene changed; the focus was no longer on investigating an individual case, but on unifying legal principles and correcting the judicial path at the national level. His role in the Court of Cassation makes him an effective partner in drafting the future legal jurisprudence of the country, which is the culmination of a professional career characterized by depth and comprehensive legal knowledge. This progression reflects a deep-seated trust from judicial leaders in his integrity, the depth of his knowledge, and his ability to bear the heaviest trust in the state.

Counselor Karim's achievements did not stop at the boundaries of the courtroom, but extended to include community and union leadership. For many years spanning a decade, he was elected as a board member of the Mansoura Judges Club. This long period testifies to the close relationship and deep trust he built with his colleagues, where he was a strong and effective voice defending the interests of the judicial body in the governorate.

In an important step that confirmed his leadership role on a broader scale, Counselor Karim was elected as a board member of the Egypt Judges Club. This election was a striking event in the club’s history, as he garnered the highest number of votes among the candidates, which is damning evidence of the consensus and acceptance that the Counselor enjoys among all members of the General Assembly from various courts and prosecutions in Egypt. 

Inside the Egypt Judges Club board, Counselor Karim handled many vital and reformative files. He worked hard to improve the logistical and social aspects for judges, emphasizing that judicial independence is not achieved except by ensuring the dignity of the judge and providing the optimal environment for their work. He proved that leadership is, in its essence, a service, and that professional success is integrated with success in representing his colleagues.

The journey of Counselor Karim El Zekred is a story told with much excellence and devotion. He is a living example for ambitious youth who started by investing in knowledge to steadily pave their way toward the highest ranks. He maintained the honor of the judiciary in every position and proved that competence and integrity are the only currency for sustainable success.
